So read carefully, and make sure you note down everything you read in this article.

First things first, before you even think about registering or going to play in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament, be it this year or the one after, there are documents that you need to have ready with you and things you need to do. Here is what they are.
- Bring your valid and unexpired Kuwaiti ID card.
- Get a Caesars Rewards card before registering. Check the link here.
- Register on the WSOP app before your event. (More on that below)
- Complete in-person verification early. (More on that below)
- Decide whether you wish to play online or in person.
- Check your table, seat, and color-coded tournament section before the game begins.
- Plan your food breaks, parking, and accommodation in advance so that you’re physically and mentally ready for the tournament.
What is The Caesars Rewards Card & How To Get It?

The Caesars Rewards card is a free loyalty membership card that is used across all Caesars Entertainment properties, including World Series of Poker venues in Las Vegas and other areas. It is considered mandatory for WSOP tournaments because not only does it link your identity to the poker system, but it also allows you to:
- Register for WSOP tournaments
- Track entries and payouts
- Access casino services faster
- Reprint lost WSOP/registration cards
- Use tournament registration systems smoothly
The purpose of the Caesars Rewards card is to verify each player’s identity and to link your poker account on WSOP to the Caesars system. It also speeds up the registration and payout process. In case there are any duplicate or fraudulent accounts, it is easier to spot and verify.
Now, as for how to get a Caesars Rewards card, even though it is specifically in Las Vegas, do not worry—you can still get it online. So here is a breakdown of the two options whereby you can get the Caesars Rewards card.
Online
To get the Caesars Rewards card online, go to the Caesars Rewards website and click “Sign Up.” Fill in all your personal information. Make sure you enter your name exactly as it appears on your Kuwaiti passport.
Once completed, you will receive a Caesars Rewards account number immediately. You can download the Caesars Rewards app to access your virtual card, which can be used to link your account to hotel bookings, dining, and other amenities.
However, it is important to know that to obtain your physical card, you must visit a Caesars property rewards desk and present your valid Kuwaiti passport or ID card. To do so, you must be at least 21 years of age.
In Person
Getting the Caesars Rewards card in person is a much safer option, to be honest. It requires travel, so get ready for that. Bring your passport or your valid Kuwaiti ID card, ask them to create a new Caesars Rewards card, and then you will receive your physical card immediately.
Here are the locations:

Register for the WSOP Tournament In Person

If you want to register for the WSOP tournament in person, obviously it is not possible from Kuwait, so you are going to have to travel to the main registration area, which is located in the Versailles Ballroom near the front end of the Paris Convention Center. Don’t let the name fool you, it is in Las Vegas not in France.
This office opens on Tuesday, May 26 at 9:00 AM, and will be open from 6:30 AM through 5 AM daily through July 15th at 12:00 PM, when the WSOP Main Cage will close until 2027.
Guests are required to present valid and unexpired photo identification, along with their Caesars Rewards card and payment, to enter events.
Register for the WSOP Tournament Online

Online registration for WSOP tournaments is highly encouraged for Kuwaiti players. However, there is a catch, but first, let’s explain the process of registering online.
- Get your Caesars Rewards card ready
- Download the WSOP Live app, here is the link.
- Have your information ready, ID card or passport, and other personal information.
Online registration makes it much easier to navigate through the events, sign up for them, and reserve your seat early at the poker tables. However, do not think that if you register online, you do not have to go there in person. You are still required to visit the WSOP verification area located in the Versailles Ballroom to verify your account.
Once you are verified, that is when you can pick your events online via the WSOP Live app. You can even access your ticket from the app and have it printed at the verification desk or the WSOP main cage, and go directly to your table. Online registration helps ease in-person registration congestion at WSOP.
Fess & Payment Options for WSOP Registration fro Kuwaitis
- Credit/Debit Card: Make sure to have your physical card present with you because they need to verify that the name is written exactly as it is on your verified WSOP account. It is important to know that there are certain limitations for credit and debit card payments. You can have a $10,000 maximum per transaction, so you cannot use it to register for events that cost more than $10,000.
- ACH bank transfer. This requires an in-person verification process, so again, make sure you have your valid ID and WSOP verification documents. It is also important that you allow at least one hour prior to the WSOP event start for first-time ACH registrations. Once all of that is done, you can use the same details you used for your first ACH transaction to pay for other tournaments.
- PayPal: You can use the e-wallet PayPal to pay for the tournament fees, but first, as is the case with every payment method, you need to be physically there to verify. Afterwards, you can access and pay via the mobile app for the tournament fees. Once again, if it is your first time using PayPal to pay for the WSOP tournament, come at least one hour prior.
There are other means of payment, but they are not common in Kuwait or may not be available, such as Luxon Pay, or participants who set up their Paris tournament account at the WSOP Main Cage, which is located in the Versailles Ballroom.
Also, Kuwaiti players who have won a ticket to any WSOP event on the real-money online poker site WSOP Online will be able to access and use their tournament tickets to pay for their WSOP event through the WSOP Live app.
It is important to note that third-party registrations for participants are not permitted unless submitted by official WSOP sponsors, official WSOP promotional partners, or official WSOP product licensees. You cannot purchase tournament tickets or enter any WSOP event using another person’s name.
Fees & Refunds
The fees that QAT players pay to register for the WSOP event are just the standard buy-in. For example, the Main Event’s buy-in is $10,000. Generally, it covers any administrative fees.
You may only be subject to additional fees depending on the payment method you use. For example, a 3% fee may be applied if you are using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express, or if PayPal charges any transfer fees as well. The same applies to bank transfers.
As for refunds, if you register for a tournament and do not show up for it, you may be eligible for a refund. This is especially applicable for people who cancel their online registration 24 hours prior to the start time of the event.
You can email Andy Rich at arich@Caesars.com for more information and to request any necessary paperwork to receive the refund.
Tips for Kuwaitis On Their First WSOP Tournament
Kuwaiti players who are participating in the WSOP tournament for the first time could use a cheat sheet. Below are some tips from experienced WSOP players who have already been there and participated. These are game changers—not for poker strategy, but for planning your trip and staying efficient so you can keep your head in the game.
How to find your seat at the WSOP:
When you register, you will receive your table and seat assignment. If you registered through the WSOP app, you will have a digital ticket that displays the event details, including your table number, seat number, and tournament section.
The WSOP tournament areas are divided into color-coded sections. Your ticket will indicate your section color, table number, and seat number. Follow the overhead signs inside the tournament room, or ask floor staff if you need help finding your seat.
Planning Breaks, Food, and Tournament Days
WSOP events include scheduled breaks, usually every couple of hours, along with dinner breaks in longer tournaments. Always check the event structure sheet so you know the exact timing and duration of breaks.
Bathrooms and food areas can get crowded during breaks, so plan ahead and avoid waiting until the last minute. Decide where you will eat before the dinner break starts.
Keep snacks, water, and essentials with you where allowed. Also allow extra time to move between Horseshoe, Paris, and the convention center areas, as distances can be significant during busy days.
Parking and Accommodation During the WSOP
Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas are located on the Strip, but the area becomes extremely busy during the WSOP season. If you are driving, plan parking in advance and arrive early before your event starts.
Hotel demand is high during the series, and rooms at Horseshoe and Paris can sell out or become expensive quickly. It is recommended to book accommodation early if you want to stay close to the tournament area.
Caesars may also offer special WSOP room-rate deals for selected dates, depending on availability.
What to Expect on the Tournament Floor
Playing at the World Series of Poker can feel intense, especially for first-time players. You may find yourself at a table with recreational players, qualifiers, experienced professionals, and sometimes well-known poker figures.
Do not feel intimidated by reputation or experience differences. Focus on your own decisions, follow dealer instructions, and stay patient throughout the event.
The WSOP atmosphere is also highly social. Table talk, rail support, and end-of-day traditions are part of the experience, as long as you remain respectful and follow all tournament rules.
What Happens If You Win a WSOP Bracelet?
If you win a bracelet event, you will usually remain at the table for official photos with the bracelet and your winning hand. Media teams may also request a short interview or winner reaction.
A WSOP staff member will coordinate the bracelet ceremony, which is often held the following day during a break in the schedule. Expect a public announcement and applause from the tournament room.
After the ceremony, you will collect your prize through the official payout process. Smaller winnings may be paid differently from larger amounts, which are often issued via cheque, wire transfer, or tournament account options rather than cash.
